Wedding at Rancho del Inglés | Kerry & Andy
Love is about persevering, and Kerry & Andy's wedding at the Rancho del Inglés in Málaga is an example of how, when you're willing to do something, time, weather, or even a pandemic doesn't matter. Sometimes it might not work out the first time, no problem, nor the second... sometimes it takes 4 tries, but if one wants, usually... it is achieved.
I still remember when we had the video call with Kerry for the first time. She conveyed an indescribable closeness, even though we were over a thousand kilometers apart. A closeness and calmness that was felt at the wedding, from the preparations to the final dance.
I know that as a wedding photographer I shouldn't have favorites, but for me, the Rancho del Inglés is my favorite place in Málaga to celebrate a wedding because it has it all.
It has that authentic touch... that reminds me of my childhood on a cobbled street. With a bike thrown at the doors of my grandmother's house, a kiosk with a radio playing, a river where to look for turtles.
I could have selected other weddings from the Rancho del Inglés to post, all special, like the first wedding I did with Maria & Gary as the main characters and that I still have published. But I wanted to tell something different.
And that story of persevering and wanting to celebrate that we are here, that life goes on, and that it doesn't matter if it rains a bit, because, in the different, lies the extraordinary.
Thanks to Cameron and his team's help, to Sol, my partner that day to capture extra details, and also to Natasha, officiant at malagaminister, who always adds such a pure touch to each ceremony. Thanks to everyone for making this Wedding at the Rancho del Inglés something unique.
